Mulino
Today’s flight consisted of a number of landings over at Mulino State Airpark. These landings consisted of the usual: normal, short, and soft field. On top of this however, I got to practice and do a great job at some short approach landings including and a “power-off 180.”

Better Landings
Since getting back into the cockpit again after almost a year, my flying has been getting better and better. I really noticed this when I went flying Sunday. My landings and overall flying were better and smoother than they’ve really ever been. I was quite pleased with how things went.

Them Winds Be Strong!
Today I went flying in the morning where I encountered some very strong winds (20+ knots with gusts up to 30). Though I’ve flown in the wind before, this was by far my windiest flight.

New Airport (Grove) with 360s!
As I get back into flying, I always love getting to fly to a new airport. Today, I flew and landed at Grove Field (1W1) for the first time. Funny thing about it is that it’s the closest airport to KTTD (Troutdale Airport), and I just landed their today.
