Friday Flight Then Poker
I usually only fly Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. However with the weather getting in the way and life for me and my instructor, this last week I had to do a flight on Friday to get one in.

Taking Off (Video)
I didn’t get a chance to post yesterday, but I flew on Sunday and had a great time. The majority of the day was spent on ground school (about an hour and a half) with the flying I did practicing landings.

Christina’s First Flight
Yesterday I had one of my best flights yet. Not only did my girlfriend Christina come up flying with me, but I was able to do a number of procedures I’ve been practicing and nailed most all of them.

I was not sure how my flight was going to go yesterday after not flying for six days, but I have to say that I was pretty damn proud of myself.

Last Lesson with Emily
Yesterday was my last flight with Emily (at least for a while) since James is returning this Sunday. I had an excellent time flying with Emily and she gave me a number of good pointers.

Landings, Landings, and More Landings
Yesterday, my instructor and I focused primarily on just landings. I flew with Emily again today who I found out has been an instructor for a couple years now and currently has ten students as a CFI (Certified Flight Instructor).

Bad Knee, New Instructor
Yesterday I had planned to fly with James, but since that crazy guy went and banged up his knee before our flight, another instructor, Emily, the daughter of the owners of Stark’s Twin Oak Airpark, stepped in and gave me a lesson.
