Weather…please be nice!
Today is the day I begin my aviation journey…well as long as the weather cooperates! So far looking outside and at the weather forecast, it doesn’t look like things are going to be too great.
I have my instructor (James) and my plane (Cessna 172) booked for 6pm today and even if it is raining, I’ll still be able to fly. The biggest factor is that I have 3 miles of visibility. I’m willing to fly rain or shine, just need to make sure the plane is up for it!
Today is the start of what I hope will turn into a wonderful hobby. Though it is one of the most expensive, I am sure it’ll be rewarding. My real goal with all of this is to hopefully someday combine my new skills flying with my software development skills. I’m not totally sure how this will happen, but I figure while I’m training that perhaps I’ll have some sort of epiphany telling me just what to do with myself.
Wish me luck today, and hopefully my blog isn’t ended shortly 😉
