C’est La Vie

I’m kinda upset cause I wanna go flying.  I haven’t been able to fly for over a week and I’m getting so close to going on solo that I just want to keep on flying.

Pre-Solo Written Test

Yesterday, James and I were supposed to fly, but due to the weather, I wasn’t able to do so.  Instead James and I had a ground lesson followed by me taking my pre-solo written test.

Friday Flight Then Poker

Christina’s First Flight

Yesterday I had one of my best flights yet.  Not only did my girlfriend Christina come up flying with me, but I was able to do a number of procedures I’ve been practicing and nailed most all of them.

Last Lesson with Emily

Yesterday was my last flight with Emily (at least for a while) since James is returning this Sunday.  I had an excellent time flying with Emily and she gave me a number of good pointers.

Landings, Landings, and More Landings

Yesterday, my instructor and I focused primarily on just landings.  I flew with Emily again today who I found out has been an instructor for a couple years now and currently has ten students as a CFI (Certified Flight Instructor).
