My last post on here was at the end of September in 2013. The day I left on a trip around the South Pacific. Since then, I went to ten countries, came back to Portland, and started a new job at GE Aviation.
The last couple months I made a huge effort to finish up my pilots license knowing that I had a hard date I needed to be done by before I took off for a while out of the country. Well
This morning flight was spent around Lenhardt Airpark (7S9) and Mulino State Airport (4S9). Both of these are small airports with the former allowing for grass landings and take offs.
It’s Done! After over a year of putting my private pilot aeronautical written exam off, I’ve finally taken a ginormous weight off my shoulders and passed my written test – with FLYING colors (no pun intended)!
