Wind Is So Fickle
Flying today was a learning experience to say the least. Rick and I were planning to solo me at Troutdale, but the wind was blowing SO hard that it wasn’t going to happen. Wind went from around 15 knots to 25+ knots.

Finally Flew Solo!!!
Last year in June was my last solo flight, since then I pretty much quit flying. However, after my restart of my lessons in September, I finally was able to get soloed at a local airport again!

Troutdale-Aurora-Scappoose-Troutdale Loop
Yesterday, I had a successful flight from Troutdale to Aurora, to Scappoose, then back home to Troutdale. I had my plan for going the opposite of this plan, but due to incoming clouds, this was the only way this flight was going to be completed.
